The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.
This is a very trying time for the family and the Fontenot family has requested no phone calls or emails as they focus on gathering as much information as they can to continue on their walk with God for faith and God's healing power during this time.
This blog is set up to continually update the condition of our loved one, Twilla Fontenot, and for you to post your comments, prayers and well wishes for Twilla and her family and friends. The family has asked for your prayers and cooperation by using the email address attached to this blog for any questions. This blog will contain the latest updates and you are invited to check it at any time.
Please keep our family in your prayers and all pray together in unity for Twilla to be one of God's walking miracles, and she will be a daily witness of His healing power. Let our Lord, the great physician, touch her body and soul.

ReplyDeleteJust got the news and we are saddened and shocked. Be assured of our prayers and our support any time, any place. You are loved by so many and I know that our love pales in comparison to our God who sees you and loves you. Although the fight before you is daunting, you are not alone.
Lord, I pray for my dear friends Twilla and Johnny. That you would be near to them in their time of anxiety and fear. That you would show yourself in new ways and hold them close to you. And we pray for Twilla's complete healing.

Words are insufficient to express the many thoughts going on in my head. First of all, I love you, Twilla, and I know that with as much love as I have for you as my sister and my friend, I know that God loves you even more than I can imagine.
ReplyDeleteI want to share with you all a personal conversation I had with Twilla, and I don't believe she will object, especially given the "message."
After Tee was given the most recent diagnosis, her response was "Donna, I'm not worried about me because I know where I'm going when I die. I just think down the road about my family." Twilla is secure in her eternity, and I am so thankful to the Lord for His saving grace and salvation work on the cross. Because of that, I am assured that one day those of us who have accepted the saving work of the Lord Jesus Christ will all be togegther - absent from the body and face to face with the Lord.
Please understand this is not a message of gloom and doom, but one of hope. Even though none of us know the exact plan for Twilla, God knows! And who are we to tell the Almighty that He doesn't know what He's doing?
My prayer for Twilla, friends and family is one of thanksgiving. I am thankful to God the Father that He knows all, He is in control, and that He has a perfect plan for each of our lives. I believe that we are to take what God has designed in His protocol plan for our lives and learn as much as we can about what He has done and provided for us in eternity past and that we take that knowledge with us now and into eternity future.
The word of God is alive and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of the soul and the spirit, and of the joints and the marrow, and is a critic of thoughts and intents of the heart. (Heb. 4:12)
All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God might be mature, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Tim. 2:15)
For God so loved the world, that He gave His uniquely born Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
For by grave are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. (Eph. 2:8-9)

Hello friend (TEE). Reading all of the beautiful scriptures above reminds me of the fact that God's word never returns void and I know you and your family have been so faithful for years, how much more is the faithfulness of our Lord. We stand with you and your family believing in the ultimate healing promised in God's Word. I pray that each doctor would be given wisdom and the LORD would guide the surgeon hands.
